I recommend starting with what you can safely remove, then checking the care instructions before trying products on a stain. A vehicle detail can help with dirty surfaces, but it does not replace repairs or air-conditioning maintenance.
Pick Up Spills Promptly
Park safely, remove the cup, and blot liquid with a clean absorbent towel. Check where it ran before adding cleaner. A splash on a hard cup holder is different from a drink that reached a cushion or electrical switch. Avoid soaking the area to chase a stain. Tell me what spilled, when it happened, and what you used if you later ask for help.

Use a suitable windshield shade when parked and choose shaded parking where practical. Keep surfaces free of loose debris. Do not apply dressing or leather conditioner to every material by habit. The vehicle manual may call for a simpler method or prohibit products that another car accepts. Screens also have their own instructions and should not be cleaned as though they were windows.

Remove Sand Without Scraping the Interior
Lift removable mats carefully and follow their cleaning instructions. Vacuum loose sand with a suitable attachment before wiping nearby trim. A gritty cloth can drag particles across a surface. Work slowly around seat rails and do not force tools into mechanisms or wiring. Sand caught in carpet takes patience; more pressure is not always a better method.
Empty beach bags and remove damp towels when you get home. Do not lay a wet mat back over the carpet. Give cleaned removable items time to dry fully before putting them back. Keep the driver mat properly secured and avoid stacking mats where they could interfere with pedals. Check the footwell after loading and unloading gear.
Do Not Treat Every AC Smell as a Dirty Vent
If a musty smell starts when the fan or air conditioning runs, note when it happens and arrange vehicle service if it persists. Cleaning the visible vent face cannot establish what is happening deeper in the system. Do not spray cleaner or steam into the vents in an attempt to repair the problem.
Follow your vehicle's cabin-filter maintenance schedule. For example, Tesla's maintenance guidance directs owners to the maintenance information for their vehicle. A filter is a maintenance item; replacing it is not proof that every odor cause has been addressed. Mention damp carpet, leaks, or a recurring smell to the service provider.
