A full car detail in Morris County, NJ combines my Interior Detail and Exterior Detail in one visit. The base package takes about 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Shampoo, extraction, steam, stains, pet hair, odor treatment, clay bar, and ceramic sealant are separate add-ons. Base prices are published by vehicle size on the booking page: $325 for a sedan or coupe, $340 for an SUV or crossover, $350 for a pickup truck, $365 for a minivan, and $375 for a full-size SUV. The base detail cleans the interior and exterior and adds spray wax protection. Embedded salt, stains, and odor may need separate shampoo or odor-treatment add-ons.

Pre-sale or trade-in. A detailed car shows a lot better than one that's just clean. Buyers notice the smell the second they open the door, and clean carpet and seats tell them the car was taken care of. Before a sale or trade-in, send photos of any stains or paint concerns so I can help separate maintenance cleaning from extra work.

New vehicle. A full detail on a newly purchased used car cleans the interior and exterior together. Shampoo, extraction, steam, and odor treatment are optional add-ons when the condition calls for them.

After a life event. A new baby, a new dog, or a kid who finally outgrows the booster seat and leaves years of crumbs behind. These are the moments when a full reset makes more sense than ongoing spot cleaning.

I arrive with everything. I bring the equipment and products for your booked services, along with my own water and power. Extraction and steam equipment are used for the relevant add-ons. Confirm the driveway or parking setup with me when booking.

Interior first. I vacuum, dust, and wipe down the cabin by hand, clean glass, vents, and crevices, and inspect the result. Shampoo and extraction, leather conditioning, steam, and odor treatment are separate services performed only when selected for the booking.

Exterior sequence. The base detail includes foam pre-rinse, a two-bucket hand wash, wheel and tire cleaning, bug removal, glass and jamb cleaning, spray wax, and tire dressing. Clay bar and ceramic sealant are optional add-ons for paint that needs additional treatment or protection.

Time commitment. Plan on about 4.5 to 5.5 hours for the base Full Detail. Add-ons and vehicle condition may extend the appointment. I confirm the expected time for your selected work. You do not need to stay beside the car while I work.

What you get at the end. I walk the car with you so you can check every area before I pack up. Anything look off? I fix it on the spot before I leave.

An interior-only detail includes vacuuming and hand cleaning of the cabin, dashboard, console, glass, door panels, and vents. Shampoo, extraction, steam, stain removal, pet hair removal, and odor treatment are separate add-ons. It's the right call when the outside of your car is already in reasonable shape (no heavy oxidation, no serious paint contamination, no bird droppings that have been sitting for weeks) and the real need is inside.

A full car detail adds the complete exterior sequence on top of that: the two-bucket hand wash, wheel and tire cleaning, spray wax, and tire dressing. Clay bar is a separate add-on. It's the right call when both the interior and exterior need real attention, when it's been over a year since your last exterior detail, or when the car is about to be seen by a buyer or photographed.

If you're not sure, tell me and I'll give you an honest recommendation. Some people think they need a full detail when an interior-only actually covers what's bothering them. Others ask for an interior detail when I can see the paint clearly needs clay bar, so I'll say so. I'd rather point you to the right service than upsell you into something you don't need.

A full detail can suit a seasonal cleanup or preparation for sale. Interior-only tends to fit regular maintenance, every 4 to 6 months or so for active families or pet owners.
