Interior Car Detailing
in Morris County, NJ

Pet hair, spilled coffee, dog smell, salt-stained carpet, crumbs in every seam. We fix all of it in your driveway — no shop, no drop-off.

A Deep-Clean Interior Without Leaving Your Driveway

Interior car detailing in Morris County NJ is what GNG Auto Detail does every day. We're a mobile team based in Cedar Knolls that travels to homes and driveways across all 21 Morris County towns. When your car's interior has a year of life stacked into it — crushed Goldfish under the kid seat, a coffee ring on the console, dog hair woven through the headliner, a faint musty smell you can't place — we reset it. All in the same spot your car is already parked.

We don't sell packages. Every interior detail is quoted based on your vehicle's size and condition, because a three-row SUV driven by a family of five is a completely different job from a commuter sedan. You show us the car, we give you a fair price, and nothing starts until you say go.

Every Interior Detail, Every Time

A full-surface deep clean. Not a quick vacuum-and-wipe.

Deep Vacuum

Seats, carpet, floor mats, under the seats, trunk, cargo area, cup holders, and every crease we can reach with a crevice tool. This is the first pass — before any wet work starts.

Steam & Sanitize

Hard surfaces — dashboard, console, door panels, trim, shifter, steering wheel — get cleaned with steam and microfiber. Steam lifts buildup and sanitizes touch points that plain wipes miss.

Leather Treatment

Leather and leatherette seats get a pH-balanced cleaner, then a conditioner that prevents cracking. Stitching and perforations are cleaned with a detail brush so dirt doesn't stay trapped.

Pet Hair Extraction

Specialized pet-hair attachments pull embedded dog and cat hair out of carpet fibers, fabric weave, and the headliner. The kind of removal a household vacuum can't match.

Odor Treatment

Smells come from somewhere — wet dog, spilled milk, a forgotten takeout bag, smoke in the fabric. We clean the source first, then treat the cabin. No perfume spray covering the problem.

What Happens When We Arrive

Step 1, walkaround. We look at the car together before anything starts. Stains, odors, pet hair, cracked leather, wet mats — we confirm what you want handled and flag anything we notice. You get a firm quote at this point, not a guess.

Step 2, remove and vacuum. Floor mats come out. Seats slide forward and back so we can reach under them. Trunk is cleared. Every surface gets a full vacuum pass with a HEPA-filtered unit before any water touches the car.

Step 3, extraction and steam. Carpets, cloth seats, and mats get hot-water extraction — the single highest-impact step on any interior detail. Hard surfaces are cleaned with steam and microfiber, not sprayed with generic all-purpose.

Step 4, leather and trim. Leather surfaces get cleaned and conditioned. Plastic and vinyl trim gets wiped and lightly dressed — matte, not greasy. Glass gets a streak-free finish.

Step 5, the handoff. You inspect the car with us. If anything's not right, we fix it on the spot. The car is ready to drive immediately — no long curing times, no oily residue.

Real Interior Problems, Real Fixes

Embedded dog and cat hair. The kind that won't vacuum out — woven into carpet loops, sticking to headliners, forming a felt-like layer on the cloth seats. We use pet-hair extraction tools that break hair free from the fibers, then pull it out with suction. For cars with heavy shedding, plan on an extra 30 to 60 minutes.

Coffee, soda, and food stains. Most stains that look permanent aren't — they're just set because household sprays sit on the surface. Hot-water extraction injects cleaning solution into the fibers and pulls it back out, taking the stain with it. We treat each stain individually, not with a blanket carpet-shampoo pass.

Winter salt and slush. Morris County winters push salt into every mat, carpet, and door seam. Left alone it crystallizes and stains. We rinse and extract the carpet so the salt actually leaves the vehicle — a surface wipe just pushes it deeper.

Pet, smoke, and musty odors. Odors come from a source — fabric that held a spill, a mat that stayed wet, a dog that rode home from the lake. We clean the source first. Cabin treatment comes after, not before. You don't want a perfumed car; you want a clean one that smells like nothing.

Kid-car disasters. Crushed crackers in seat seams, a leaked juice box in the back row, something sticky under the car seat. These are routine. We remove car seats when asked, clean under them, and put them back in place.

If you have a specific problem we haven't listed, ask when we arrive — we'll tell you honestly whether it's fixable and what it'll take.

How We Treat Each Surface

Cloth seats. Vacuum, spot-treat stains, then extract. For heavily soiled cloth we do a two-pass extraction — the second pass almost always comes out noticeably cleaner than the first. Cloth dries fully in a few hours, faster with windows cracked.

Leather seats. Cleaned with a pH-balanced leather cleaner on a soft brush, wiped, then conditioned. Perforated leather (common on BMW, Audi, Lexus) gets extra care so cleaner doesn't pool inside the holes. Conditioner leaves a matte finish, not glossy.

Carpet and floor mats. Mats come out and are extracted flat on the driveway. Carpet under the mats is vacuumed, then spot-treated and extracted in place. The goal is dry, soft fiber — not soaked carpet padding.

Dashboard and trim. Cleaned with steam and microfiber for matte plastics, and lightly dressed on vinyl surfaces. We don't use glossy tire-shine-type dressings inside — they create glare and attract dust.

The full catalog of what we offer lives on the services page. Every item on it is available as part of, or in addition to, an interior detail.

Interior Car Detailing Morris County FAQ

What does interior car detailing in Morris County include?
A full interior detail covers a deep vacuum of every surface (seats, carpet, mats, trunk, under seats), hot-water extraction of carpets and upholstery, steam sanitization of hard surfaces, cleaning and conditioning of leather, dashboard and console wipe-down, vent and crevice cleaning, interior glass, and odor treatment. We finish with a visual and smell check before handing the keys back.
How long does an interior detail take?
Most interior details in Morris County take 2 to 3 hours. Vehicles with heavy pet hair, deep stains, or strong odors can take 3 to 4 hours. We give an honest timeline when we assess the car.
Do you do interior detailing at my home?
Yes. GNG Auto Detail is fully mobile. We bring water, power, extractors, steamers, and all products to your driveway anywhere in Morris County. You don't need to leave the house.
Can you remove pet hair and stains?
Yes. Pet hair removal and stain extraction are two of our most-requested services. We use professional extractors with pet hair attachments to pull embedded hair from carpet, upholstery, and headliners, and hot-water extraction for stains that household spot cleaners can't touch.

Interior detailing is quoted per vehicle based on size and condition. We inspect the car first and give a fair price before any work starts. No flat packages and no bait pricing. Call or text 862-204-7568 for a free quote.
