Interior detailing is my most-requested service in Cedar Knolls. It starts with a full vacuum of every surface: seats, carpet, floor mats, under the seats, cup holders, door pockets, trunk, and every crevice I can reach. Then I move to hot-water extraction on the carpets and cloth seats, which injects cleaning solution into the fabric and pulls it back out with the embedded dirt. Hard surfaces like the dashboard, console, door panels, and steering wheel get steam-cleaned and wiped down with microfiber. Leather seats get a pH-balanced cleaner and conditioner. Pet hair removal is one of the toughest interior problems, and it's one I handle constantly in Hanover Township. It comes out clean and sealed for the weather.

Mobile service means I show up at your home or driveway with my extraction unit, a steam cleaner, all the cleaning products, and my own water and power. You don't leave the house, and the car stays in your driveway the whole time. Most Cedar Knolls customers go this route because there's nothing to plan around, no rides to line up or schedules to shuffle. Drop-off service at 191 Malapardis Road works well if you've got a morning commute routine: drop the car before work and pick it up after. Either way, you get the same work: the same equipment, the same person, and the same result. The only difference is where the car sits while I do it.

If you search "detailing Cedar Knolls" or "detailing Hanover," the results are mostly car washes. That's because there isn't another professional auto detailing company based in Cedar Knolls. Car washes and auto detailing are not the same thing.

A car wash runs your vehicle through a tunnel or sprays it down in a bay. It takes 10 to 20 minutes, cleans the outside, and maybe quick-vacuums the front seats. Auto detailing is a 2-to-5-hour process that covers every surface: carpet extraction, upholstery cleaning, leather treatment, dashboard and console steam cleaning, vent cleaning, interior glass, paint decontamination, hand wax or sealant, wheel and tire detailing, and door jambs. The two aren't really the same job.
